Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of cleanup.fyi and any cleaning service you book through it. By requesting a quote or booking a service you agree to them.
What Clean Up is
Clean Up is a marketplace. We connect customers with independent, vetted cleaning professionals. The cleaning work itself is performed by those independent providers, not by Clean Up.
We verify identity, check backgrounds and confirm insurance before a provider is listed, and we handle scheduling, quoting and support around the booking.
Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on the site and in the instant estimator are estimates based on the property size and service type you tell us. Your final quote is confirmed in writing before any work begins.
Additional charges may apply for jobs that turn out to be substantially larger or dirtier than described. We will always contact you for approval before charging more than the confirmed quote.
Booking, rescheduling and cancellation
You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations inside 24 hours may be charged up to 50% of the quote to compensate the provider for the reserved slot.
If a provider cannot make your appointment we will offer you the next available slot or a full refund of anything already paid.
Our re-clean guarantee
If you are not satisfied, tell us within 24 hours of the service and we will arrange a re-clean of the affected areas at no extra cost. If a re-clean is not possible we will refund the affected portion of the job.
Provider obligations
Providers on Clean Up are independent contractors. They are responsible for their own taxes, equipment and insurance, and they agree to keep active general liability coverage while listed.
Providers may not solicit Clean Up customers off-platform for jobs originally booked through Clean Up.
Liability
Damage or loss caused during a service should be reported to us within 48 hours. We will coordinate the claim with the provider and their insurer.
To the extent permitted by law, Clean Up’s liability for any single booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.
